Data expertise boost with appointment from social housing sector

Due to increasing demand for our data integration services we’ve appointed Ian Garlick as Data Analyst. Reporting to Martyn Whyte, Data Team Manager, Ian joins our growing data team at our headquarters in Bromborough on the Wirral.

Ian has over 13 years’ experience of working with all things data and IT in a housing association role so has tremendous knowledge of working client side. During this time Ian was responsible for all data management requirements and was also the primary contact for the support of the main housing management software application.

As such he has a unique blend of knowledge as to how accurate, integrated data can be used within housing applications to help make informed decisions. He also has significant experience in supporting housing association staff and the organisation as a whole from a data and IT perspective.

Ian holds a degree in Applied Physics from Liverpool John Moores University. On a day to day basis he manages and manipulates large amounts of data on behalf of our clients, from many disparate systems.

In his spare time Ian enjoys cycling, which he admits he would love to do every day weather permitting and visits the cinema at least once a week with a particular passion for films involving science fiction, fantasy or action.

Commenting on Ian’s appointment, Martyn Whyte comments: “With so much experience Ian is a fantastic addition to our team and to have so much insight and knowledge about what our clients require is proving invaluable to us as a company. We have recognised for some time that accurate data is a key requirement for informed decision making so are further investing in our service provision to ensure our clients receive the best possible service in this regard.”
