Hat-trick of wins

PIMSS secures hat-trick of client renewals

Housing Associations One Manchester, Tai Calon Community Housing and Cartrefi Conwy have all retained the PIMSS Asset Management system from PIMSS Data Systems (PIMSS) for a further three years. By continuing to use PIMSS Asset Management all three social landlords have a single view of all their housing stock via a central database and retain the ability to manage risk and maintain housing quality standards.

One Manchester was formed in April 2015 as the result of a merger of two of Manchester’s largest housing associations, City South and Eastland Homes and currently owns and manages more than 12,000 homes in the central, southern and eastern areas of the city. The landlord recently undertook a procurement exercise to purchase a new Housing Management system, that also included a review of the asset management capabilities. The review concluded that the PIMSS system fully met One Manchester’s asset management requirements and that it should therefore be retained.

Tai Calon Community Housing is the largest social housing landlord in the Blaenau Gwent County Borough and currently manages more than 6,100 homes. They have used PIMSS Asset Management for seven years and rely on the system to monitor Welsh Housing Quality Standards. As part of the new contract, PIMSS undertook a system health check that resulted in the identification of significant cost savings. Tai Calon Community Housing has also committed to a data retainer service with PIMSS to ensure that, with limited resources, the accuracy of their data is maintained.

Cartrefi Conwy is a registered social landlord and was formed as a result of the transfer of around 3,800 homes from Conwy County Council in 2008. Their relationship with PIMSS commenced in 2003 when the Council first began using an earlier version of the company’s asset management system. Now PIMSS Asset Management is fully integrated with their Housing Management system to ensure data integrity and is crucial to the maintenance of their assets to Welsh Housing Quality Standards.

In all cases the PIMSS system allows for the fast and flexible distribution and sharing of information and its modular set-up provides options that can be tailored to meet each of the organisation’s requirements, leading to more informed decision making based on their own specific objectives.

Martin McDonnell, Managing Director at PIMSS Data Systems comments: “To have three such important clients renew their agreements with us in such quick succession is fantastic news. As we continue to make key enhancements to the PIMSS system, to further improve its capabilities, we’ll to continue to meet our clients’ evolving requirements. And I’m confident that our commitment to investing in our products will continue to deliver further client renewals.”
