PIMSS Uncovered – Energy Module
Ambitious Government targets for the reduction of carbon emissions, Housing Quality standards which insist on a minimum level of energy efficiency and the continual need for Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) to be provided to your residents when properties are let, mean that energy efficiency continues to be a key topic.
The PIMSS Energy Module allows you to record RdSAP energy survey data, calculate live energy efficiency scores and lodge and store your EPCs all in one place.
The Energy module is driven by RdSAP survey data and this information is used by the in-built Elmhurst Energy calculation engine to calculate:
- energy efficiency rating (current and potential scores)
- environmental impact rating (current and potential scores)
- indicative energy use
- indicative CO2 emissions
- recommendations for improvements to properties
The RdSAP data can be collected and recorded in PIMSS, using the Agility application, or data for EPCs already lodged can be downloaded from Elmhurst (or provided by your suppliers if they are accredited to one of the other accreditation schemes). The Energy Module will allow you to report on energy efficiency across all, or any subset, of your properties.
You can quickly and easily identify poorly performing properties and understand how the energy efficiency can be increased through improvement works.
The certificate, plus any other type of supporting electronic documents, can be quickly and easily attached to a property. Accredited energy assessors can lodge an EPC through the PIMSS Energy Module, using the Elmhurst Energy accreditation scheme.
Please get in touch with your PIMSS account manager, or the PIMSS support helpdesk, if you would like to find out more about the Energy Module, or any other area of PIMSS.
