Due to a string of recent contract wins and on-going new product developments we’ve further strengthened our technical support team at our headquarters in Bromborough on the Wirral with the appointment of Matt Buxton as Software Support Engineer.
Reporting to our Support Manager, Heather Welch, Matt joins a growing team of support specialists acting as the first point of contact for any systems advice and software support requests received from our nationwide base of clients. He is also responsible for ensuring that service levels are exceeded and all quality procedures are followed.
In addition to his day to day responsibilities, Matt is currently supporting Heather with the identification and implementation of a new support ticketing system aimed at streamlining the help desk function.
Originally from Runcorn but now living in Birkenhead, Matt is 21 and has a BSc in Forensic Computing & Security from Manchester Metropolitan University. He has a keen interest in programming and building and repairing computers.
Commenting on his appointment, Heather comments: “Matt has settled in really well and is proving a valuable addition to our growing team. He brings fresh thinking and knowledge to the role and is part of our ongoing investment in our technical support function. This investment is vital to ensure that we continue to deal with requests received from our clients as quickly as possible and with a high degree of professionalism as we continue to grow.”
